Activity Monitoring Helps Weight Loss and Fitness

Now, the technology of body monitoring is evolving almost as fast as that of computers and smartphones. Today, multi-sensor body monitors can distinguish ironing from pumping iron and walking a thousand steps on an incline from walking the same distance up a mountain. Multi-sensor monitors include sensors that measure your skin temperature, how much heat is coming off your body, and galvanic skin response, and include an accelerometer to measure not only movement but the intensity of an activity.
